Support field maintenance for the UPIKE softball program including general upkeep, cleaning, and facility preparation. Ideal for students who enjoy outdoor work and want to contribute to athletic operations.
Responsibilities and Career Competencies:
• Cutting grass – C, TW, P
• Weed-eating – C, TW, P
• Working on the infield – C, TW, CT, P
• Cleaning the dugouts – P, C, TW
• Picking up trash – P, TW
• General field maintenance – C, TW, CT, P

Work Schedule: Sunday: Closed; Monday–Saturday: Varies depending on workload. Flexible to accommodate student schedules.
Work Conditions: Heat, cold, noise, vibrations, wetness, humidity, dust, machinery.
Physical Demands: Reaching/handling, stooping/kneeling, crouching/crawling, pushing/lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., climbing, balancing.
Number of Positions: 2 (average of 10 hours a week)
Pay Rate: $8.75/hour
Location: Campus softball field
