TMPC is seeking a Sr. Declassification Reviewer to join our growing team of diverse professionals.
As a Sr. Declassification Reviewer, duties include but are not limited to performing legal and policy evaluations of classified national security records. They lead page-by-page reviews, manage interagency referrals, and mentor junior analysts. Senior Declassification Reviewer analyzes classified records to determine eligibility for declassification in accordance with applicable laws, executive orders, and agency policies. This role reviews sensitive information, applies redactions when necessary, documents review decisions, and ensures compliance with security and records management requirements while supporting the timely release of government information.
Responsibilities:
• an active Top Secret clearance with eligibility, U.S. citizenship
• 5 years of records or classified document experience
• Access required to review/declassify documents on DODNet-J(JWICS), SIPRNet networks, up to and including SCI, to ensure that all “permanent” records are transferred to the custody of the NARA.
• the declassification work under this contract requires qualified individuals who are trained in recognizing restricted information, able to maintain a Top Secret clearance with Critical Nuclear Weapons Design Information (CNWDI), Restricted Data (RD), Formerly Restricted Data (FRD) and have passed necessary Department of Energy, Historical Records Restricted Data Reviewers (HRRDR) course.
• Proficiency with government tracking databases like the Document Declassification Support System (DDSS) and NARA archives systems
• Ability to maintain high accuracy benchmarks
**This is a contingent hire tied to contract award. Selected candidates will be named in the proposal and asked to sign a Letter of Commitment.**
