Are you an organised and detail-focused coordinator who enjoys keeping systems, people and information on track?

Pioneer Energy Renewables is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our Alexandra-based team. This is a varied role supporting operational planning, maintenance coordination, compliance administration, health and safety systems, and reporting across our renewable energy portfolio.

You will help ensure planned work is coordinated efficiently, records are complete and reliable, and operational, environmental and compliance information is accurate and delivered on time. It is a practical coordination role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, follows through, and enjoys helping busy teams work well.

The Role Reporting to the Admin and Compliance Manager, you will work closely with operational leaders, compliance specialists and site-based teams across Pioneer Energy Group. You will also coordinate with contractors, suppliers and service providers when arranging work, materials and services.

A key part of the role is supporting the effective use of our Maintenance Management System (MMS), from raising and tracking work requests through to maintaining asset records and producing reports. You will also assist with operational and environmental reporting, health and safety administration, and the coordination of planned maintenance and outages.

Key responsibilities include:

• Helping operational teams coordinate maintenance activities, outages, backlog work, staff and contractors

• Raising and tracking work requests in the MMS and following work through to completion

• Maintaining accurate maintenance, inspection, asset history, stores and critical spares records

• Collecting, checking and reporting operational, environmental and plant performance data

• Assisting with compliance and resource consent reporting for renewable energy and generation sites

• Maintaining health and safety records, registers, training information and Safety Data Sheets

This is a full-time, office-based role in Alexandra, working 40 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday between 7.30 am and 4.30 pm. Occasional travel and visits to operational sites will be required.

About You

You will be a dependable and service-focused coordinator who is comfortable working with systems, data and deadlines. Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with people across different teams and locations.

You will bring:

• Strong administrative experience, including accurate data entry and record management

• Confidence using Microsoft Office

• Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and organised approach

• The ability to prioritise competing tasks and deliver work within agreed timeframes

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence working with data, reports, registers and document control requirements

• The ability to follow established processes while identifying practical ways to improve coordination

• A collaborative, responsive and customer-focused approach

• A genuine commitment to health, safety, wellbeing and compliance

Experience in an operational, utilities, engineering or asset-intensive environment would be an advantage. Familiarity with maintenance management, work scheduling or compliance systems would also be valuable.

Above all, we are looking for someone who is accurate, proactive and comfortable taking ownership. You will enjoy bringing structure to busy workflows and making sure the information people rely on is complete, current and easy to use.
