BermudAir is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Airline Spares Controller to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. This key operational role is essential to ensuring the timely procurement, movement, and availability of aircraft parts, supporting safe, compliant, and reliable operations across our expanding fleet.

Position Summary
As the primary point of contact for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) parts and urgent logistics, you will coordinate the sourcing, purchasing, and rapid transportation of critical aircraft spares worldwide. Working closely with Maintenance Control, Engineering Technical Representatives, suppliers, and the Airline Buying team, you will help minimise aircraft downtime by ensuring the right parts are delivered to the right location at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage AOG parts across the BermudAir network as main point of contact
• Source/purchase using approved suppliers and designated freight forwarders
• Place POs and monitor inventory via Traxxall (or equivalent)
• Determine most efficient shipping method and provide shipment updates to engineering and consignee
• Create Transfer Orders for stock location changes and maintain real-time parts/logistics trackers
• Monitor engineering onboard flyaway kit contents and ensure return of unserviceable parts to home base
• Debrief AOG events to assess and optimise stock quantities/locations
• Collaborate with Airline Buyers on routine and consolidated shipments; support base maintenance materials needs
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years’ purchasing experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Excel
• Experience with Traxxall or other inventory management systems
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and communication under pressure
• Collaborative mindset with Technical/Engineering teams; good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Able to summarise analyses and present clear actions to management
