About this role
Build AI that runs inside the world's largest enterprises. Everyone is building AI. Very few are making it work at enterprise scale. At Lio, we're building the AI workforce for procurement. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of Software Engineering, AI, Product and enterprise customers. You'll spend your time writing production code, building integrations, solving complex system challenges, and turning customer-specific requirements into scalable product capabilities. This isn't implementation. This is engineering.
What you'll build
Design and build production-ready integrations across APIs, SAP, ERPs and enterprise software
Build scalable backend services and customer-facing product capabilities
Work directly with technical and business stakeholders at Fortune 500 companies
Own technical problems from discovery to deployment
Turn customer challenges into reusable product features
Debug distributed systems and production environments
Work closely with Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap
Help define how enterprise AI gets deployed at scale
