About this role
Deine MissionAs part of our Systems Engineering team in Munich, Germany, you will take a central role in the design and coordination of our Dynamic Space Operations roadmap. The role is focused on the early concept phase: surveying the available solutions, deriving concepts, and performing trade-offs. We also offer the opportunity to convert the work into a Master’s thesis, with the exact topic tailored to the candidate’s interests and strengths.
Your role will include:
Detailed operational analysis of our systems, identifying stakeholders and their needsFunctional analysis, functional allocation and definition of the physical architectureOrganising and carrying out all the trade-offs necessary to the justification of the architectureDerive system, subsystem and components functional performance requirementsSupport the search for appropriate suppliersSupport the derivation of adequate development plansDefining tests and analyses to ensure the product meets its requirementsPrepare documentation for the deliverablesSupport with other relevant ad-hoc activities, as necessary
Dein Profil
Enrolled in a Master’s or advanced Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related fieldHands-on experience working in student projects is an asset, especially student aerospace projectsExperience in Model Based Systems Engineering, especially the Capella Framework, is an assetFluent in English is mandatory, knowledge of German is an asset.Strong analytical and communication skillsProactive, structured approach, and able to work independently as well as in a team
