The Role As a Gas Supervisor / Technical Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Gas Engineers across the Cardiff area. You'll ensure work is delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently while maintaining excellent levels of customer and client satisfaction.
Managing a team of engineers, you'll play a key role in driving engagement, performance and continuous improvement across your area.
Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and support a team of Gas Engineers, driving a culture of engagement, accountability and high performanceDeliver regular toolbox talks and promote best practice across health, safety and complianceEnsure gas repairs, maintenance, installations and planned works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standardsDrive productivity, quality and first-time-fix performanceConduct regular field visits to support engineers and monitor service deliveryBuild and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and engagementMonitor compliance requirements, inspections, audits and surveys, ensuring high levels of accuracy and qualitySupport operational planning and resource allocation across your area to maximise efficiency and minimise travel timeManage escalations and resolve operational issues in a timely and professional mannerEnsure contract KPIs, business objectives and customer satisfaction targets are achievedComplete regular inspections of vehicles, van stock, PPE and equipmentDeputise for senior operational management when requiredIdentify opportunities for service improvements and continuous improvement initiatives This is a predominantly field-based leadership role, combining technical expertise, people management, operational delivery and client engagement.
What We Need From YouEssential ACS qualifications: CCN1HTR1CKR1CENWAT Full UK Driving LicenceStrong technical knowledge of domestic gas servicing, maintenance and repairsGood IT skills and confidence using business systemsStrong understanding of health & safety and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, organised and solution-focused approach Experience We welcome applications from:
Experienced Gas Supervisors or Technical Team Leaders, orExperienced Gas Engineers with a minimum of 5 years' industry experience who are looking to progress into a leadership role Previous experience managing engineers, technical teams, repairs and maintenance operations or social housing contracts would be advantageous.
