At St Elizabeth’s Centre, we have two vacancies available for passionate and motivated Band 5/6 Occupational Therapists to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team supporting children, young people, and adults with complex needs. One position is a permanent role, while the second is a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover—offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable specialist experience within a highly supportive team. About the Role As part of our Occupational Therapy team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions that support individuals to maximise their independence, participation, wellbeing, and quality of life. Depending on experience, the role can be offered at Band 5 or Band 6 level, with appropriate supervision and development support provided. You will: Deliver person-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventionsSupport individuals with sensory, physical, cognitive, and emotional needsWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Psychologists, PBS Practitioners, Education, and Care teamsDevelop therapy programmes and specialist recommendationsSupport individuals to achieve meaningful goals and increase independenceProvide advice, guidance, and training to staff and familiesContribute to care planning, risk assessments, and clinical reviewsMaintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HCPC and professional standards About You We are looking for someone who is compassionate, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic support.
