Position is 12 Months. Monday through Friday. 7.5 Hours Per Day. 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM. 1 Hour Lunch. Job Overview: Responsible for the upkeep and repair of all athletic facilities on campus. This includes routine inspections, repairs, and ensuring that all equipment and structures are in proper working condition. The technician will play a key role in ensuring the facilities are safe and functional for student-athletes, staff, and spectators. Qualification\Certifications Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Perform routine maintenance of all athletic facilities, including outdoor fields, gymnasiums, multi-purpose buildings, press box, restrooms/locker rooms, and weight rooms. 2. Ensure that all equipment, such as bleachers, scoreboards, sound systems, and lighting, are in proper working order. 3. Maintain the turf on natural grass fields, including mowing, assisting with fertilizing, irrigation, and monitoring watering systems. 4. Oversee the care of synthetic turf fields. 5. Coordinate repairs or replacements for damaged equipment or structures. 6. Operate equipment such as scissor lifts for maintenance tasks. 7. Identify and address potential safety hazards, ensure that emergency exits and equipment are accessible and functioning 8. Perform small jobs as needed. 9. Assist with groundskeeping tasks. 10. Set up and take down equipment for games and events. 11. Identify and address potential safety hazards, reporting them to the athletic director when necessary. 12. Perform basic repairs to equipment and facilities as needed. 13. Work
