Warwick School Department is currently accepting applications for Substitute School Nurses for the 2026-2027 school year Qualifications: Must be currently licensed in the State of RI as a registered nurse and must hold a Bachelor's Degree. General Statement of duties: The School Nurse Teacher is responsible for meeting the individual health needs of students; incorporating health care plans directed by physicians; complying with the laws relating to student health, including parental and guardian consent; providing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured students; providing/teaching health information to students; serving as a resource to teachers, staff, and administrators; and identifying health problems for referral for proper treatment. Supervision Received: As provided by the School Principal.
