About this role
Qualifications/Experience: High School Diploma/GED and passed ParaPro/Para Educator testing (or 60 college credits) required. A successful background check is required. Prefer experience working with children.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: Ability to work with children to help them grow their skills in reading, math, and writing.

Specific Tasks: Provide instructional, social, physical, and academic assistance and support to students while supporting teachers in promoting individualized learning, independence, and student success in furtherance of the District's mission to meet the unique needs of each student. Provide support for students needing assistance in mathematics, reading, and writing. Providing data support to track student progress, and communicate in a flexible, fast-paced educational environment. See the job description for additional information.
Hours Per Day: 5.50 hours per day, 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. As per contract May become benefit eligible if combined with other positions.
