Insurance Specialist Start Date: August 21, 2026 235 Days Position Goal: To oversee our comprehensive insurance and benefits programs. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our employees by managing and optimizing our insurance offerings, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. You will also manage school district property/liability insurance and assist with workers' compensation claims. Your experience and expertise will contribute to attracting and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Required Qualifications: Required qualifications to effectively perform the job at the time of hire. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. • Experience in benefits administration and insurance management. • Knowledge of IRS Section 125 benefit plan. • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing employee benefits. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Detail oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume role. Preferred Qualifications: Highly desired education, training, and/or experience that may be helpful in performing the job, if applicable. • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. • Current knowledge of workers' comp policies (reporting, payroll, waiting periods, FMLA). • Knowledge of tort claim/legal processes and contacts with CCMSI. • Knowledge of ACA data entry and IRS rules/regulations for reporting 1095C. *** Max Salary Based on Years of Experience and College Degree ***
