Bullitt County Public Schools is requesting a waiver to fill this position before the standard 15-day posting period to ensure we are fully staffed for the upcoming school year. OMES is looking for a dynamic, energentic person to be lunch monitor. They will assist with supervising the students during thier lunch time. This person must be good with students of all ages and be willing to assist with the following duties: help opening lunch, sweeping, table washing, spill clean up and orderly conduct of the lunch room. This position is currently limited to only 1.5 hours a day, when students are in school. Position Details Hours: 1.5 hours per day Contract Length: 170 days per year Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date Employment Status: Part time Employment Type: 10-month employee on the classified pay schedule Qualifications & Requirements
• Education:
• High school diploma or GED
• Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire.
2026-2027 Pay Scale Starting Pay (Step 0): $17.57/hour We value experience! Previous experience working with students, intervention systems, and small-group instruction is strongly desired. Payroll Note: While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June.
