Data Migration Specialist ( 10 years experience) Job Summary Responsible for planning and executing data migration from legacy systems into Trade360, Flexcube, Murex, and ACBS platforms. Key Responsibilities • Define data migration strategy and approach (phased/big bang) • Perform: o Data profiling o Data cleansing & enrichment • Create mapping rules between legacy and target systems. • Execute migration cycles and reconcile data. • Ensure data integrity, completeness, and audit compliance. Core Skills: • Strong stakeholder management • Banking domain knowledge • SDLC / Agile delivery experience Deliverables • Data mapping documents • Migration execution reports • Reconciliation and validation logs Database Technologies (Mandatory) The candidate should be comfortable querying, validating, and reconciling large volumes of data. Relational Databases • Oracle Database (Mandatory) • Microsoft SQL Server • PostgreSQL • MySQL Enterprise Databases • IBM DB2 • Sybase ASE • Teradata Technical skills Mandatory • Oracle SQL, SQL Server, DB2 • Advanced SQL & Data Reconciliation • ETL Tools (Informatica / DataStage / ODI / Talend) • Data Profiling & Data Quality Management • Trade360 / Flexcube / Murex / ACBS data model understanding • Excel Advanced • Jira & Agile delivery Strongly Preferred • Python scripting • Power BI or Tableau • Azure Data Factory or equivalent cloud migration tools • Informatica Data Quality / Ataccama • Git version control Nice to Have • Snowflake • Databricks • AWS Glue • Loan IQ • Temenos T24 • ISO 20022 and SWIFT messaging knowledge A senior-level 10+ year profile would ideally have 60% banking domain expertise, 25% data migration/ETL expertise, and 15% reconciliation, audit, and governance expertise, with strong SQL being a non-negotiable
