Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager performs maintenance and monitors plans schedules and assigns tasks to the plumbing staff in order to achieve the maintenance of all plumbing related systems throughout the Saint Vincent Hospital.

• Utilizes job knowledge to effectively perform all maintenance related duties for the Saint Vincent Hospital • Conducts PM (computer generated, and as referenced in the engineering policy manual) activities according to schedule and takes appropriate corrective action where required and uses own initiative to investigate and implement a valued course of action. • Maintains and repairs all equipment and issues as it relates to their trade and position purpose, to maximize efficiency and the operation of same and carries out the repair to a professional conclusion. • Maintains a neat and safe work environment. • Recognizes needed repairs in other areas of responsibility and implements and troubleshoots corrective action through the appropriate channels. • Performs related duties as required

• Required: • Experience: • 6 years in a similar environment • TQM knowledge base • Proven history with regards to regulatory agencies (JCAHO, DPH, etc.).

• Licensure/Certification: • Masters License in Plumbing • Valid Drivers license, Safe driving history, Transportation.

• Preferred: • Education: High School Diploma
