This role is responsible for serving as the senior HR leader for the GSC LATAM Region, ensuring the achievement of business objectives through effective talent, labor, and organizational strategies. The position acts as a strategic partner to operations leadership, driving workforce productivity, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, compliance, and operational excellence. It provides guidance and support to site HR teams and management, leads labor and employee relations initiatives, develops HR talent across the Region, and champions the implementation of innovative HR practices and technologies that strengthen organizational capability and support the Region's long-term success.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY

• Meeting or exceeding the Region’s business goals; • Compliance with Corporate/Division policy and external laws and regulations; • Provide growth and opportunity for all Regional employees; • Ensure functional excellence of the Region's Human Resources staff; • Support and champion the GSC mission & strategy across the Region to support all customers; • Act as a strategic business partner by developing and implementing human capital strategies that strengthen organizational capabilities, leadership effectiveness, and a high-performance culture; • Lead the region's labor and union relations agenda, ensuring effective collective bargaining processes, proactive labor dispute prevention, and the maintenance of constructive relationships with employee representatives, while balancing business objectives, employee well-being, and regulatory compliance.

MAJOR TASKS PERFORMED

• Provide leadership, consultation, and support to site HR function and site management on HR related matters (including employee development, policies and procedures, positive employee relations, and continuous improvement) through site visits, written communication and the phone; • Implement Corporate, Division, and Regional initiatives; • Ensure implementation and compliance with Corporate/Division policy and external laws and regulations; • Work closely with Regional staff to develop and implement programs that support achievement of Operational Excellence goals; • Attend and provide leadership/input to Corporate, Division, and Regional HR and Operations meetings.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensures effective development and headcount productivity; • A positive employee relations environment that supports the goals and ideals of SW, including our concerns for a safe and healthful work environment; • Sound development of the field HR Managers and their staff; • Ensures that the Plants/Sites are aware of and comply with personnel related to Safety, compensation, incentives and employee relations; • Introduce new HR technologies and practices to the Region/Division to support continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS FORMAL EDUCATION:

• Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent academic Degree.

• Preferred:

• Relevant Master Degree or Professional Certifications;

• Focus in Human Resources or business-related field.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Required:

• Must have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated career growth in Human Resources in leadership positions; • Strong record of goal achievement, leadership and implementation of new programs and management of organizational change; • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; • Experience supporting teams that are part of a collective bargaining unit; • Experience leading Human Resources strategies and operations in multiple Latin American countries, managing multicultural teams and diverse regulatory environments; • Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English. b. Preferred:

• Experience supporting teams in multi-shift operations or that sit across multiple sites in manufacturing or distribution environments.
