About this role
Primary Purpose Able to operate a shift unassisted and have the ability to rebuild equipment. A Water Operator Lvl B possesses a Water Operator license and 1 - 2 endorsements. Endorsements required for Millsboro include Distribution, Disinfection, Chemical Feed and Filtration. Will have 1 - 3 years of acceptable operating experience. Operates mostly under supervision. Sunday-Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Operation of the water treatment system. • Assists with compliance documentation and recordkeeping. • Maintenance of water equipment and wells. • Adheres to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management related matters. • Performs process control lab work. Qualifications
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. • Active Water Operator license with 1 – 2 endorsements. • 1 – 3 years of acceptable operating experience. • DE: Recertify every 2 years with completion of 20 hours of approved training within that timeframe. • NC: Recertify annually with completion of 6 hours of commission-approved continuing education. #LI-TB1 #INDNC
