It provides services to individuals, banks, pension funds, asset managers, and other institutional clients investing in a wide range of financial instruments locally and internationally. We are on the lookout for: Job vacancy: Asset Services & Data Specialist The Asset Services & Data Specialist is accountable for delivering accurate, timely and controlled asset servicing, client onboarding, maintenance of client and account documentation and securities data outcomes that protect client entitlements, support market obligations and maintain data integrity across clients’ portfolios and custody and post-trade systems, In this role you will,
• Process complex asset servicing and corporate action events end-to-end by interpreting market announcements, maintaining accurate event set-up and meeting cut-off times to safeguard client entitlements. • Capture, validate and process client instructions and elections in line with documented controls to ensure accurate and timely submission to markets, custodians or agents. • Calculate, reconcile and post cash and securities entitlements accurately to prevent financial discrepancies and downstream reconciliation breaks. • Deliver specialist support for tax operations, including relief at source, by managing documentation, ensuring compliance with market regulations and efficiently processing tax reclaims and reporting. • Set up, validate and maintain securities static data, including instruments, identifiers and lifecycle updates, to ensure correct processing across custody and reporting systems. • Perform price maintenance and market data updates using approved sources to support accurate valuation, reporting and corporate action processing. • Create, amend and close investment portfolios and accounts in accordance with approved documentation and procedures to ensure completeness, auditability and regulatory compliance. • Review, maintain and evidence client and account documentation to ensure data completeness, compliance with standards and readiness for audit or regulatory review. • Investigate and resolve processing exceptions, data discrepancies and breaks by analysing root causes and implementing corrective actions to reduce recurrence. • Prepare clear and timely communications related to onboarding, events, deadlines and confirmations to ensure stakeholders receive accurate and actionable information. • Respond to complex operational queries by applying policies and procedures consistently to protect service quality and manage operational risk. • Collate and analyse operational data and performance metrics to support monitoring, prioritisation and continuous improvement initiatives. • Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps or recurring issues and propose and participate in testing of practical improvements or automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and risk mitigation. We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of: EITHER
• A Degree in Finance, Business Management , Accounting or any relevant field; • 5 year of experience within the bank. OR
• A Diploma in Finance, Business Management , Accounting or any relevant field; or ACCA; • 7 years’ of working experience within the bank.
