Engineer - HVAC The HVAC Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and optimisation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The role ensures that HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
• Execute the installation of Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning (MVAC) systems in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards. • Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. • Maintain effective communication with clients to understand project requirements, provide progress updates, address technical queries, and ensure client satisfaction. • Plan, coordinate, and oversee ducting works to ensure timely completion in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, and technical specifications. • Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems. Candidate Profile:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in the HVAC industry, with strong expertise in ducting systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, and other related HVAC installations. • Sound understanding of HVAC equipment, ducting, chilled water systems, ventilation, and control systems. • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
