Job summary
We are looking for experienced and dedicated MRI radiographers to join our MRI team at Sherwood Forest Hospital NHS Trust (SFH).
This is an exciting opportunity offering rotation across all SFH sites, including the new CDC and MRI build. The MRI department will benefit from the introduction of new state-of-the-art Philips Ingenia Ambition X 1.5T systems opening in the next 3 months, within an environment designed to offer the best service to optimize both staff and patients' experiences.
SFH MRI service has recently expanded to open a new facility at the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) MRI at Mansfield Community Hospital.
The post-holders will work as part of a team consisting of radiographers, an assistant practitioner, and imaging assistants to provide a 11.5-hour, 7-day service in the MRI Department. The successful candidates will develop specialized knowledge and expertise to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment, while maintaining high standards of care.
Our service is supportive of advanced practice and leadership development.
Both full and part time posts are offered in this vacancy, working as long days.

DCR R or BSc (Hons Radiography) State registration with HCPC Evidence of further study
