About this role

Job summary

You will be suited to this position if you have previous administration / secretarial experience.

You will be capable of multidisciplinary work, and will be able to juggle the everchanging needs of the service.

You would also work with the bookings team to manage the patient lists and booking appointments where necessary.

You may have previous experience of working within a healthcare environment, however this is not essential.

Main duties of the job

You will work closely with the Sonographer, including being present in the clinic room whilst the Ultrasound is taking place for any administrative work. You will triage patients as per protocol, and be responsible for incoming or outgoing image requests. You will ensure all patient information entered is accurate and that procedures and policies are followed at all times.

We are looking for an administrator to join our Ultrasound service, working on a bank contract at our clinics across Suffolk.

SystmOne Experience is essential for this role.

Youll join our Ultrasound Service, which is delivered by Suffolk GP Federation. We are a not-for-profit, community interest company and our main purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk, including support with working collaboratively and at scale.

We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, NHS HealthChecks, as well as Urgent Care Services including the Out of Hours face-to-face Service in Suffolk. Is it for me?

We will work alongside the successful candidate to ensure they are sufficiently inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place.
