About this role

Job summary

Are you keen and enthusiastic, can you be relied upon to support clinical staff working in a front line patient environment? - Then you may be who we are looking for to fill a full time vacancy arising in our Logistics Team.

A cheerful disposition and good interpersonal skills are essential as direct contact with clients, customers and suppliers is expected. You should have a good basic education to NVQ level 3, with some computer skills and hold a full driving licence. Current technical knowledge is not essential, but you must be willing and have the aptitude to undertake any necessary training provided.

Main duties of the job

Carrying out a range of routine and some non-routine technical work involving the commissioning, repair and servicing of medical equipment.

Transporting medical equipment between the Clinical Engineering base and user locations.

Participating in a maintenance programme for community equipment and liaising with patients in their homes.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
