About this role

Job summary

The Yorkshire Regional Burn Centre at Pinderfields Hospital provides specialist care for patients who have sustained thermal injuries or skin loss disorders. As a regional centre of excellence and part of the Northern Burn Care Operational Delivery Network, we receive referrals from across Yorkshire, the Humber and North Lincolnshire, serving a geographical catchment population of approximately 5 million people. As the regional adult burn centre, we provide care for patients with the most severe burn injuries, as well as those with less complex burn and skin loss conditions requiring specialist assessment and treatment.

Our adult burn service includes a 7-bedded inpatient unit, with 2 dedicated intensive care beds for the management of critically ill patients, a busy seven-day ambulatory care unit, and a regional outreach service supporting patients closer to home. Together, these services enable us to deliver specialist burn care throughout every stage of the patient journey, from emergency treatment and critical care through to rehabilitation and long-term follow-up.

Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and compassionate Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team.
