About this role

Job summary

We are looking for a Senior Clinical Team Administrator to join the Secure Services Central Administration Team at either Northside House, Norwich. The team forms part of Secure Services, offering inpatient and community based care for our service user group.

The successful candidate will work with Integrated Mental Health and Justice Pathway Team (IMHJP Team) providing ongoing day-to-day administrative processes to the clinicians and also provide supervision to four Clinical Team Administrators. They will work alongside other administrators within the Secure Service and assist the team to continually refine and improve the service offered.

There will be a requirement to pass prison vetting and a standard DBS check.

Main duties of the job

The ideal post holder will be very organised, with experience in administrative settings, and ideally have knowledge of healthcare/ the NHS.

The post holder will manage the workload of the IMHJP team, including minute taking, typing up reports, arranging appointments, using Excel spreadsheets, liaising with other agencies and dealing with telephone and email enquiries and other day to day administrative processes that support the service.

The post holder will have line management responsibilities for the current IMHJP Team Clinical Administrators, and the post holder will work under the supervision of the Administration Manager.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Word Processing Diploma/Equivalent secretarial experience (advanced level) NVQ 2 Customer Service NVQ 3 Business Administration or Equivalent

Knowledge Essential

Working knowledge of Microsoft packages or equivalent Experience of an office environment using advanced secretarial skills

Desirable

Knowledge of NHS policy/procedures Knowledge of Trust electronic record system

Miscellaneous Essential

Able to travel independently to other NSFT/Prison sites
