Staff Bank Services successfully provides temporary staffing throughout Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust via a variety of different assignments.
We are looking to register reliable, hardworking individuals who would thrive in a busy environment who are available to work shifts between Monday to Friday during core office hours or at weekends (dependent on skills and service needs). You would be based in our Inpatient Physiotherapy Team in Addenbrooke's Hospital within the appropriate Physiotherapy area according to your skills and experience.
Main duties of the job
To work as a Band 6 Physiotherapist across the Trust in a range of Ward settings and Outpatient settings.
To provide a high standard of physiotherapy in a variety of areas; Medical Wards, Surgical Wards, Critical Care, Care of the Elderly Wards, Stroke and Rehabilitation Wards, Neurosciences, Paediatric Wards, Orthopaedic Wards and Musculoskeletal Outpatients.
To develop skills in prioritisation, audit and management.

Qualifications Essential
Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy HCPC registration or working towards return to practise for HCPC registration (nearing re-registration) Evidence of relevant post-graduate education / CPD activities

Experience Essential
Experience of reviewing and applying evidence-based practice Relevant clinical work at Band 5 level in a range of specialities, including Respiratory / Critical Care, Elderly Care and neurological conditions Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team Competency to provide respiratory care to self-ventilating patients Postgraduate NHS Physiotherapy experience at Band 5 level
