Job summary
Do you want to join our team as Specialist Grade? This is a ten session permanent post. It includes contribution to the resident on call rota for both obstetrics and gynaecology. The post will be based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
The ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff is essential. A minimum experience of 6 years at SAS grade or equivalent in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the UK is essential.

Qualifications Essential
Full GMC registration with a license to practice at date of commencement
Desirable
MRCOG or appropriate specialist qualification Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry by date of appointment oATSM/SITM in O&G
Experience Essential
Minimum of 12 years medical experience since primary medical qualification Minimum of 6 years at SAS grade or equivalent in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (or equivalent gained either part time or through Less Than Full Time Training) Shall meet the criteria set out in the Specialist Grade Generic Capabilities

Evidence of independent clinical practice
Skills Essential
Ability to organise & manage clinical care. Understanding of clinical risk within Obstetrics Knowledge and understanding of current policy in the provision of high-quality care to women within Obstetrics
