Job SummaryYou will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.
QualificationsGS-09 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Comprehensive detailed knowledge and understanding of budgetary policies, procedures and regulations. Knowledge on directives and instructions that impact a wide range of financial management functions. Utilizing Government Commercial Purchase Card Programs and Defense Travel Program. Proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint applications. Knowledge of financial management system, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). GS-07 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Comprehensive detailed knowledge and understanding of budgetary policies, procedures and regulations. Recommending methods for the use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. Major DutiesYou will assist in the performance of functions such as budget formulation and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.You will provide information about and interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices and regulations.You will be responsible for a Travel Card program to include analyzing financial deficiencies to recommend corrective action.You will compile data and generate reports using a financial management system.
