Job SummaryLead the maintenance team that keeps healthcare facilities safe, operational, and mission-ready. As the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor, you'll oversee maintenance and repair operations, supervise skilled trades employees, and help ensure a safe, reliable environment that supports quality patient care at the Pawnee Indian Health Center in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Work is sometimes performed on ladders and/or scaffolding which requires incumbent to work overhead or in stretched, cramped or awkward position. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed inside and outside in all kinds of weather and is usually dirty, dusty, and greasy. Incumbent may perform work and is usually dirty, dusty, and greasy. Major DutiesAs the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor, you will: Plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate the work of maintenance employees performing building, utility system, and equipment maintenance and repair. Coordinate preventive maintenance, repair projects, and daily work operations to ensure healthcare facilities and building systems remain safe, reliable, and operational. Provide technical guidance and training in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and building maintenance while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards. Monitor work progress, prioritize assignments, manage materials and equipment, and coordinate maintenance activities with health center staff and contractors. Assist with planning budgets, preventive maintenance programs, service contracts, and facility improvement projects to support efficient operations.
