QualificationsIn addition to the basic education requirement your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate managing the full engineering lifecycle of complex defense or aerospace systems, including leading systems integration, formulating multi-million dollar program budgets, developing high-value contract scopes, and supervising a multidisciplinary workforce of government, military, and industry partners. Major DutiesYou will manage system requirements, strategic planning, and multi-million-dollar budget formulation to ensure successful design, development, and testing of complex engineered products.You will direct complex technical program management across the product life cycle, leading systems integration, design, manufacturing, and testing for high-value hardware portfolios.You will draft and oversee high-value contracts and task orders while leading a diverse, multidisciplinary workforce of government, military, and private industry personnel.You will serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership and partner with external federal agencies, national security organizations, and industry partners to align budgets.You will supervise engineering unit leaders, setting long-term direction, assigning work based on capabilities, and coordinating across departments to achieve goals.
