Job SummaryThis position is located at Departmental Offices, within the Management CFO - Treasury Operations. As a Maintenance & Operations Supervisor, you will serve as the Chief of Physical Plant Maintenance, Repair, and Projects, responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and directing maintenance, repair, alteration, and operational activities for all utilities and structures across the Treasury Campus. .

QualificationsYou must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. You must meet the screen-out element Ability to supervise through subordinate supervisors, normally addressed at the beginning of the online questions. Major DutiesAs a Maintenance & Operations Supervisor, you will: Serve as the senior technical authority for high-voltage electrical operations and may personally perform or directly oversee high-voltage switching, troubleshooting, and emergency restoration when operational requirements dictate. Oversee multiple organizational segments through subordinate supervisors and is accountable for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of major building systems, including high- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems, steam and hot-water heating systems, electrically cooled mechanical systems, plumbing systems, fire alarm and fire protection systems, and computerized monitoring and control systems. Exercise full supervisory authority over subordinate supervisors, ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards, and provide technical and operational guidance to senior management regarding infrastructure reliability, resource requirements, and system improvements.RequirementsYou must show in your experience in online application that you possess the knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
