Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing logistical support and guidance to ensure readiness of the organization, working on Tables of Distribution and Allowance (TDA) and assisting in the development and formulation of yearly budget. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Accountability Customer Service Decisiveness Flexibility Interpersonal Skills Problem Solving Resilience Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Major DutiesProvide operational logistical guidance, counsel, and assistance to the directorate offices.Evaluate activities for achievement of operational logistical objectives.Support operational logistics force requirements based on sustainment operations concept plans.Use automated logistics planning systems to develop time phased force and sustainment schedules and information.Represent the Director at conferences and seminars, locally or CONUS, on matters such as planning future operations, funding, and personnel requirements.Supervise employees (civilian and military) of the Directorate of Logistics (DOL).Develop and standardize procedures for budget development and execution.
