Job SummaryYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST in the COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS DIRECTORATE of MARITIME OPERATIONS CENTER.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle management of complex IT infrastructure or Command and Control (C2) systems; leading or supervising professional IT staff, including setting priorities, evaluating performance, and providing technical guidance; formulating, executing, and defending IT budget requirements and strategic capital investment plans; applying advanced enterprise architecture and cybersecurity principles to protect, defend, and integrate critical information systems. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Major DutiesYou will be the principal technical authority for all Communications Systems (CS) supporting the Fleet Command Center and the COMPACFLT Maritime Operations Center.You will be responsible for strategic long-range planning, project execution, operational readiness, and continuous improvement for the transport, networks, and systems supporting the PACFLT Admin Site.You will meet stringent Joint Task Force, Joint Force Maritime Component Commander (JFMCC) and Maritime Operations Center (MOC) requirements.You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and rigorous enforcement of SOPs, Annex K to standardize and optimize operational protocols in support of exercises and real-world operations.You will exercise administrative and technical supervision over technical subordinates at the COMPACFLT Administrative Site (CPF Annex) for CS MOC Systems support.
