The University of Auckland

The Faculty of Science at Waipapa Taumata Rau is the leading science faculty in New Zealand and one of the largest in Australasia. It undertakes world-class research across the physical, biological, and computational sciences. More than 8,000 students' study in our ten schools and departments, learning from internationally renowned lecturers.
The Faculty is proud to contribute to Mātauranga Māori scholarship, and is home to a number of prominent Māori Academics, as well as a strong Māori staff network - Te Taura Here Pūtaiao - that spans the Faculty and provides support and collaborative opportunities for teaching and research.
