*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of dishes to customers. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following proper food handling and sanitation procedures. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. * Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. * Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team. * Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred. * Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
