*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bobcat Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including Bobcats, excavators, and backhoes. This role requires mechanical knowledge and experience in construction environments to ensure efficient and safe project completion. The Bobcat Operator will play a vital role in supporting various construction activities, including site preparation, grading and material handling.
*Duties*
* Operate Bobcats and other heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes with precision and safety. * Perform site preparation tasks including grading, excavation, and material movement to facilitate construction progress. * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. * Follow project plans and instructions to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. * Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and construction activities on-site. * Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and equipment after use.
*Skills*
* Proven experience operating Bobcats along with other heavy machinery such as excavators, backhoes. * Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance. * Strong understanding of construction processes and safety procedures in heavy equipment operation. * Valid driver?s license, clean driving record, and 3 years of driving history. * Knowledge of construction site safety standards and best practices. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
