*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Shingle Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various roofing techniques and construction practices. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety on the job site. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings.
*Duties*
* Install roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, metal, and underlayment according to manufacturer specifications. * Perform inspections to identify issues with existing roofs and recommend repairs or replacements. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete roofing tasks. * Collaborate with team members on construction site activities to ensure efficient workflow. * Conduct heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials safely on-site. * Apply caulking and other sealants to ensure waterproofing of roofs.
*Experience* Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
* Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields. * Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks. * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively are an asset * Previous construction site experience is highly desirable. * Knowledge of roof maintenance procedures is an asset * We value hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety on every job site.
