About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Tasks: Perform other labouring and elemental activities. Install door, window and other hardware. Cut glass along marked outlines or around pattern using hand tools. Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products. Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials. Clean work area. Replace damaged windows and repair upholstery. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Employment terms options: Morning. Day. Weekend. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
