What to expect: Developing innovative concepts for next-generation powertrain systems Designing components and assemblies for electric and hybrid powertrains with a strong focus on manufacturability and production readiness Performing complex packaging and installation space analyses to ensure the optimal integration of powertrain systems Creating, documenting, and presenting engineering results, including technical drawings, CAD models and structures, and detailed design documentation What you bring along: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field Proficiency in the use of at least one of the common CAD tools (CATIA V5, Creo, or Siemens NX) as well as the Microsoft Office suite Initial experience in the development of powertrain components and in project management Ideally, specialized knowledge in electric motors, high-voltage battery systems, internal combustion engines, or related auxiliary systems Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively drive decisions and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders Excellent communication skills and a confident professional presence Business fluent English skills At Bertrandt, we place great importance on equal treatment and equal opportunity.
