STOMANA INDUSTRY SA is looking for an Plant Utilities Senior Engineer to join us in Pernik, Bulgaria Stomana Industry is Bulgaria’s largest steel producer with a commercial presence in Southeast Europe and the international markets. Its products are used mainly in the construction industry, and automotive /shipbuilding/ transportation industry as well as in energy and power networks, and mining/tunneling markets. As a Plant Utilities Senior Engineer , you will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation, maintenance, safety and continuous improvement of Water Treatment Plant equipment, reporting directly to the Energy Senior Manager. What you will need to do: Organize and control the technical condition and proper functioning of equipment in the Water Treatment Plant Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs of plant equipment Manage, organize, and oversee health and safety activities for workers under your supervision, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company standards Prepare, interpret, and work with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Manage maintenance schedules and participate in both planned and emergency equipment repairs within the Water Treatment Plant Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies and lead activities related to equipment modernization and process improvements Prepare purchase orders and coordinate the procurement and delivery of spare parts What you need to possess: University degree in technical fields Experience in similar positions Familiarity with Bulgarian legislation will be considered an asset Good command of English language Computer literacy Willingness to work in a challenging industrial environment What we will offer to you: A workplace with a strong focus on values of teamwork, integrity, and ownership Dynamic and friendly working environment Competitive remuneration and benefits package Continuous training and career development opportunities Commuting expenses What you will need to do next: Joining Stomana Industry is easy!
