Job Code 100402 Grade 11 Job Funtion OPR Location Rig Duty - Saudi Arabia Job Purpose / Objective Supervises drilling operations and ensure that the rig operations conducted safely and efficiently. Manage the Rig site training and certification for all rig personnel. Acts for Rig Superintendent position when so designated. Key Accountabilities 1 Follow ARS job requirements and to be accountable to the procedures. Manages rig operations in a safe manner according to ADC policies and procedures. Observes proper rig operating procedures, noting unsafe practices. Plays an active part in QHSE meetings, tool box meetings, the TQM program and all other company safety management systems. Implement Management of Change (MOC) procedure for non-routine operations. Leads of ADC internal self-auditing and Client's audits action items closure. Game Plan/ Standard Instruction for Driller Implementation. Rig Move Plan and Rig Move Lessons Learned Report. Marine Operations to be performed (for offshore rigs). Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) for Drilling Equipment (based on MSP volumes) to be planned and done according to the PM schedule. Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) for Mechanical, Electrical and Barge Equipment (based on MSP volumes) to be planned and done according to the PM schedule. Maintain Drilling Equipment Inventories. Living Environment and Services. Emergency Duties. Modular training coordinator duties. Mentorship program and promotions. Daily and Morning Reporting. Proficient in STOP for supervisors and uses its techniques. Promotes the use of STOP for employees to the personnel under his supervision. Is delegated the Rig Superintendent HSE responsibility at night. Responsible to sign the night permits to work. Assumes nightly emergency duty leadership in lieu of the Rig Superintendent. Ensures the maintenance of the HSE database. Supervise drilling operations for Rig Superintendent. Assist in supervision of casing and cementing operations. Assist in supervision of tests of the well. Assist in supervising use of the ordinary drilling operations such as coring, fishing, working stuck tools, etc. Assist in ensuring appropriate well control measures are taken and company well control and drilling policies are adhered to. Assist in organization and supervision of rig and camp move. Marine (for Offshore ARS): Plan operations with barge control. Ensure barge control is advised of impending operations and/or movement of equipment or material. Assist Rig Superintendent in moving rig. Assist Rig Superintendent in jacking rig including performing jacking operation. Monitor maintenance of vessel stability. Monitor weather. Key Accountabilities 2 Key Accountabilities 3 Relevant Experience/ Skills – Minimum At least 6 years’ experience in land or offshore Drilling Operations, with at least 2 years’ experience as a ARS (or above) on a similar rig type. Must have completed the company's modular training and certification requirements.
