Job Requisition ID 12741 Closing date 7 August 2026 OME MRS: Mining Location Secunda, Mpumalanga Purpose of Job To operate within defined protocols in assigned sections and map survey work in Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems in order to validate correct survey and upscale competency and accuracy in GPS and surface surveying. Key Accountabilities Achieve legal compliance of 100% by meeting the requirements as set by Health & Safety. Do volumetric measurements. Measure and calculate stockpile volumes. Map all the survey work in Cad system and update plans. Give inputs in Short term planning layouts. Manage all daily work in assigned sections. Ensure accurate survey and measuring results. Ensure accuracy in executing new panel layouts. Achieve 100% accuracy by executing checks and re-surveys. Measure accidents and compile accident plans. Establish & sustain SHE processes (OHSAS 18001& ISO14001). Take responsibility for safety of team and equipment. Ensure formal training compliance by sticking and obliging to the training schedule agreed upon between yourself and Line Manager. Conduct effective quarterly performance and PDP discussions with Line Manager. Take responsibility for personal performance, improvement and skills development. Continuously develop extensive knowledge relating to the field of work and personal mastery in surveying skills application. Achieve competency in GPS and surface surveying. Improve 3D Modelling by getting coaching from Survey Draughts person.
