Hourly wage rate of $20.81/hr We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Fix full-time overnight schedule: Monday - Friday from 12.00 am - 8.00 am Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Security Guard in an Industrial warehouse site Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies Qualifications for Security Guard in an Industrial site Be legally authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid BC security worker license First aid certification (any level) - an asset Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shift This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.
