Job Description OVERVIEW Job Title Senior Flutter Developer Job Code Grade I2 Group Business Products Division - Department Business Products Unit - ROLE PURPOSE The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective. To design, develop, enhance, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter and related technologies while ensuring application scalability, security, performance, and reliability. The role is responsible for delivering technical solutions, supporting application lifecycle activities, resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide secure, stable, and business-aligned digital products that support Elm’s objectives and customer expectations. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES This section describes the principal outputs required from the job. Key Accountabilities Key Activities 1. Mobile Application Development Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter and Dart technologies. Develop scalable, maintainable, and reusable application components. Ensure coding standards and development best practices are consistently applied. Contribute to the delivery of high-quality mobile solutions aligned with product requirements. 2. Application Architecture & Code Quality Implement clean code principles and approved architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture. Develop modular, maintainable, and well-documented application code. Review application design and implementation approaches to ensure scalability and maintainability. Support continuous improvement of development standards and practices. 3. Troubleshooting & Technical Problem Resolution Diagnose and resolve complex application and platform-related issues. Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying technical problems. Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective corrective actions. Support issue resolution activities to maintain application stability and performance.. 4. Mobile Application Security Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities in mobile applications. Implement secure coding practices and security controls throughout the development lifecycle. Support compliance with organizational security requirements and standards. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address security findings and mitigation actions. 5. Application Performance Optimization Analyze and optimize application performance, responsiveness, and stability. Monitor application behavior and identify performance bottlenecks. Implement improvements to enhance user experience and application efficiency. Support performance testing and optimization initiatives. 6. Platform Integration & Native Development Support Support integration with backend services, APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms. Collaborate with technical teams to implement mobile integration requirements. Support native platform extensions and integrations through Android and iOS technologies when required. Ensure platform interoperability and seamless service integration. 7. Application Publishing & Release Management Manage application publishing and maintenance activities across Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Support application versioning, release planning, and deployment activities. Ensure compliance with store requirements, policies, and submission guidelines. Resolve publishing, compliance, and release-related issues efficiently.. 8. Technical Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with product, QA, backend, and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices and standards. Share technical knowledge and support capability development within the team. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and delivery efficiency. 9. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Academic and professional qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Years and Nature of Experience 2–4 years of experience in Mobile Application Development, Software Development, Flutter Development, or related fields.
