Job Purpose The ePABA Practice is seeking an experienced Business Analysis professional to strengthen and evolve the Business Analysis capability across Nedbank. The role is positioned within the ePABA Practice and is not dedicated to a specific project, squad, product, or delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing Business Analysis standards, frameworks, governance, methods, capability development, quality assurance, and thought leadership across the organisation. This role requires a deep understanding of Business Analysis principles and practical experience across all BABOK knowledge areas, combined with modern Business Analysis capabilities such as Agile delivery, AI-enabled analysis, data-driven decision making, digital collaboration, design thinking, and prototyping. The role operates as a trusted advisor and capability enabler, supporting practitioners, leaders, and stakeholders across the enterprise. What You Will Be Accountable For Practice Development & Governance Develop and maintain Business Analysis frameworks, standards, methodologies and guidelines. Define and continuously improve BA governance processes. Establish and maintain quality assurance mechanisms for BA deliverables. Facilitate Practice reviews and maturity assessments. Drive consistent adoption of BA standards across the organisation. Identify and introduce leading Business Analysis practices Methodology & Ways of Working Establish standards for: Discovery Requirements management User stories Business rules Feature definition Acceptance criteria Backlog management Solution assessment Promote effective use of: Jira Confluence Miro BPMN AI-enabled analysis techniques Modern Business Analysis Drive adoption of modern Business Analysis practices including: Artificial Intelligence for Business Analysis Prompt Engineering AI-assisted requirements analysis Process Mining Data Analysis and Insights Design Thinking Customer Journey Mapping Service Design Digital Prototyping Product Thinking Practice Support Services Provide expert advisory services to: Business Analysts Product Owners Practice Leads Delivery Leaders Business Stakeholders Support complex initiatives through: Framework guidance Facilitation Requirements review Quality assurance reviews Coaching and mentoring Minimum Experience Requirements 10+ years Business Analysis experience. Minimum 3 years within a Centre of Excellence, Practice, Capability, Governance or Professional Services environment. Experience building or improving Business Analysis standards and methods. Experience mentoring and coaching Business Analysts. Experience facilitating Communities of Practice.
