Job Summary The Resource Planner is a key enabler of service excellence, responsible for securing the right resources at the right time, in the right location, and with the appropriate competencies to meet customer and business requirements. The role ensures accurate and predictable planning of field activities, internal competence development, and mandatory solution deployments. Leveraging planning expertise, knowledge of demand patterns, workforce capabilities, and planning systems, the Resource Planner works closely with Service Account Representatives (SARs), Project Managers, Service Delivery Managers (SDMs), Technical Delivery Experts (TDEs), CSO support teams, and Upgrade Managers to ensure reliable execution, minimize last-minute changes, optimize resource utilization, and enhance customer satisfaction, operational performance, and safety. This is a permanent position which can be based in Budaors, Hungary or Bratislava, Slovakia . What you will do Operational Resource Planning & Scheduling Utilize FSM and approved planning tools to schedule all field activities, including service interventions, projects, training, and mandatory solution deployments. Ensure optimal assignment of engineers based on skills, certification levels, availability, customer requirements, and business priorities. Support markets in balancing short- and mid-term demand against available capacity and coordinate capacity adjustment actions through regional resources, cross-market collaboration, or outsourcing channels where applicable. Ensure all required documentation and planning prerequisites are completed before field execution. Demand and Capacity Analysis Analyze workforce capacity, skills availability, utilization trends, and future demands. Identify capacity gaps, bottlenecks, and resource constraints and recommend mitigation plans. Provide visibility to leadership regarding resource risks, shortages, and escalation opportunities. Flex Zone Planning Compliance Understand and apply Flex Zone resource planning strategies and preferred supplier frameworks. Coordinate and manage planning exceptions through established Flex Zone escalation processes. Subject Matter Expert in Resource Planning Own and understand planning processes and tools and use them during daily activities and interaction with stakeholders. Competence Development Planning Plan internal training demands following competence development competence development plans prepared by SDMs and TDEs, ensuring engineers have competences required for future market needs. Planning of Mandatory Solutions (MRKs / AOs) Understand mandatory solution scope, applicability, priorities, and execution requirements. Coordinate stakeholders to ensure timely planning and implementation of mandatory solutions together with monitoring execution progress, identifying risks and delays, and escalating issues when required. We believe you have Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an mechanical/electrical/automation engineer in food industry. Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of service operations, workforce planning, and capacity management. Experience working with planning and scheduling systems (FSM, SAP, or equivalent). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment. Fluency in English. Preferred Experience within field service organizations. Knowledge of Tetra Pak equipment, service products, and customer operations. Experience working with outsourcing models and cross-regional resource planning. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and automation initiatives. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role, level and the applicable local market conditions on a full-time basis. For part-time or alternative schedules, pay will be proportionately adjusted based on contractual working hours. Ranges are determined by role, level, and applicable local market conditions. Within the applicable range, individual pay is determined based on job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training, consistent with our commitment to pay equity. Below is an indication of the compensation and benefits typically offered for this position.
