Your new company Our client is an international service provider with a strong financial centre located in Groot Bijgaarden. The organisation is known for its professional approach, stable growth and continuous focus on efficiency and quality. To strengthen the Corporate Accounting team, they are looking for a Junior Property Accountant. Your new role As a Junior Property Accountant, you support the Real Estate Accounting Expert and take ownership of a wide range of accounting tasks linked to development, construction and facility operations. You manage the daily administration of invoices and purchase orders, monitor real estate expenditure versus budget and ensure correct allocations and postings. You maintain the Fixed Asset register, prepare journal entries and reconciliation files, and contribute to monthly closings, financial statements and audit preparation. You collaborate closely with Real Estate teams and external service providers, resolve operational questions, support insurance claim handling and assist with ESG reporting, budgeting and M&A related activities. You also help improve accounting processes, support system rollouts and participate in European finance projects, ensuring accurate data, strong controls and efficient workflows. Your profile For this position as Junior Property Accountant, we are looking for a candidate who: Holds a degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or equivalent. Is a recent graduate or has initial accounting exposure. Has an excellent command of English; knowledge of French or German is a plus. Has a solid command of Excel; knowledge of SAP is an advantage. Has an initial understanding of Belgian or Luxembourg GAAP; basic IFRS knowledge is an additional asset. Has experience with fixed assets or multi country environments, which is considered a plus. Has an interest in digitalisation and enjoys working with modern financial systems.
