We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Implementation Specialist to join our Client Services/Implementation team and lead software implementation projects for hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and brokers. This role requires strong project management, technical aptitude, and communication skills to successfully onboard clients and deliver exceptional service.
You will work closely with clients, project managers, developers, and external technology partners to configure solutions, streamline workflows, and ensure successful deployments.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end client implementation and onboarding projects.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
• Configure trading environments, user accounts, permissions, and workflows.
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and third-party vendors throughout implementation.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to deliver client-specific enhancements.
• Create functional documentation, implementation plans, and operational runbooks.
• Deliver onsite and virtual training sessions for traders, portfolio managers, operations, and compliance teams.
• Configure trade routing, end-of-day processing, and integration workflows.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing post-implementation support.
• Identify opportunities to improve client adoption and overall user experience.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial technology, software implementations, or client-facing technical support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
• Experience with an OMS, EMS, or PMS platform.
• Working knowledge of the FIX Protocol.
• Experience with Java and/or Python.
• Understanding of financial markets, trading workflows, and the investment management industry.

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.
The budgeted amount range for this position in New York is $112,000 -$140,000
