Entrust is seeking a highly motivated recent engineering graduate to join the AI Team, led by the Director of AI and Automation, as part of a 1-year temporary project to help accelerate our growth in AI Security landscape. This role offers a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Security, helping define how AI can be securely deployed in enterprise environments while identifying innovative ways to leverage AI across a global security company. The selected candidate will contribute to initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations across all departments through AI-driven automation and intelligent solutions. Beyond internal innovation, the candidate will play a key role in researching, defining, prototyping, and evaluating next-generation digital security solutions for Agentic AI systems, helping shape future products and capabilities in this rapidly evolving space.
Key Responsibilities
• AI & Security Research: Explore emerging technologies, trends, and challenges related to Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, and Agentic AI systems. • Innovation Projects: Support the identification, development, and execution of innovation initiatives that leverage AI to improve business processes and enhance Entrust's digital security solutions. • Prototype Development: Design and build proof-of-concepts, pilots, and prototypes to evaluate new ideas, technologies, and security approaches. • Agentic AI Security: Contribute to the research and validation of security controls, best practices, and solution concepts for securing AI-powered systems and digital agents. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AI, security, engineering, and product teams to gather requirements, share ideas, and help deliver innovative solutions. • AI Solution Development: Develop applications, automations, and integrations using modern AI technologies under the guidance of senior team members. • Testing & Evaluation: Assist in testing and evaluating AI-based solutions to ensure reliability, effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives. • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Document experiments, prototypes, findings, and recommendations to support knowledge sharing and future development efforts. • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about advancements in AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, and digital identity technologies, bringing fresh perspectives to the team.
Required Skills
The listed skills are mandatory, and candidates must demonstrate proficiency in these areas to be considered.
• Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems, evaluate solutions, and make informed decisions that contribute to project success. • Generative AI and Agent Development: • Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and practical experience building AI agents, either programmatically or with AI coding tools such as Codex, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code. • AI Development Frameworks and Platforms: Familiarity with AI development frameworks and platforms such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Anthropic SDK, Microsoft Foundry, or comparable tooling.
• Proficiency in: • Git for version control and collaborative development. • Docker for containerization. • Linux operation system and scripting.
• Programming Skills: Hands-on expertise in 2 (or more) Object Oriented languages (preferred Go and/or Python), Design Patterns and UML.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience.
