Default Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Hours: 40 Salary range: $33.73 - $51.24 Schedule: Full Time Shift Hours: 8 Hour employee Department: Finance - Clinic Division Job Objective: Provides analytical and financial support to the operational areas within the Medical Center with a focus on the development of reports that promote effective decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as intermediate and/or advanced Microsoft Office product application skills. This individual will assist in the maintenance of selected analytics and/or regulatory reporting systems. Close interaction with leadership, consultants/auditors, information systems, and finance staff will be required. Reports To: Director Supervises: N/A Ages of Patients: N/A Blood Borne Pathogens: Minimal/ No Potential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Ability to interact with an array of Eisenhower Medical Center personnel: financial and non-financial, management and staff, Ability to maneuver between independent judgment and team support in determining reporting, analysis, and conclusions, Ability to work in a team, facilitate/support committee meetings, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, sound independent judgement, ability to multi-task, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, Intermediate and/or advance use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Strong apititude in PC-based and mainframe financial management systems, Understanding of accounting principles and practices in general and GAAP specifically, Written and verbal communication skills Essential Responsibilities 1.Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. 2.Assists with the accurate reporting and maintenance of various management tools/systems used for operational review and improvement. 3.Works with senior analysts and/or management in developing, coordinating and continually improving support for assigned operational areas within the organization. 4.Creates financial reports, analyzes data, and provides conclusions in response to routine or ad hoc inquiries from leadership. 5.Supports the labor productivity analysis, budget development, monthly budget to actual variance reporting and service line analysis by gaining a thorough understanding of the various healthcare metrics, delivering accurate data and information to operations. 6.Keeps abreast/informed about regulatory changes effecting the healthcare industry including changes in internal and external reporting requirements. 7.Perform other duties as assigned.
