***Sign-on Bonus*** Position Summary Provides pediatric healthcare services to patients from birth through age 21 in an outpatient rural health clinic setting. Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages acute and chronic conditions while providing preventive care, well-child services, immunizations, patient education, and family-centered care within applicable scope of practice. Key Responsibilities Provide preventive, acute, and chronic healthcare services for pediatric and young adult patients. Perform histories and physical examinations and develop appropriate diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Provide well-child care, immunization management, family planning services, and age-appropriate health education. Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic testing, and other appropriate clinical services. Prescribe medications and therapies within applicable licensure and scope of practice. Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, preventive care, and expected outcomes. Maintain timely and accurate EHR documentation, coding, billing, and quality requirements. Collaborate with clinic physicians and leadership and provide additional clinic coverage within scope of practice as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Current California NP or PA license and applicable certification. Current and unrestricted DEA registration and furnishing license, if applicable. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Primary care experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
